This plaque was given to Give Back Cincinnati, a volunteer group whose members painted homes in Hartwell this spring then returned this fall to landscape some of the homes they painted.

“World Changers” visited Hartwell in August to replace a sidewalk for a family who were seriously injured in a motorcycle wreck.

As part of “Make a Difference Day,” held on October 21, volunteers from Hartwell planted this garden in the traffic island on Avalon Street. It was done in memory of Hartwell resident, Cyndi Gelhous who died in a traffic accident nearby.
