Free trees

Thanks to a grant from the Duke Energy Foundation<https://www.duke-energy.com/community/duke-energy-foundation>, Cincinnati Parks<https://www.cincinnati-oh.gov/cincyparks/> and Taking Root<https://cincinnaticares.org/listing-item/taking-root/> are giving away a limited number of free trees to residents in the low tree canopy neighborhoods of Bond Hill, Roselawn, Carthage, Hartwell, and Winton Hills.

A healthy tree canopy provides health, financial, and environmental benefits to by helping clean the air, lowering temperatures in summer months, mitigating storm water runoff, and reducing energy costs and consumption. If you know of others who might benefit, please help green our city by spreading the word through your networks.

Cincinnati Parks Urban Forestry is seeking residents in Bond Hill, Roselawn, Carthage, Hartwell, and Winton Hills to apply for a free tree to plant on their property. This will help increase the tree canopy in those neighborhoods.
