The City of Cincinnati has a pedestrian safety initiative. With the guidance of the City of Cincinnati Department of Transportation we have asked for the following. "We suggest submitting the Anthony Wayne speed cushions and the Vine Street raised crosswalk locations for pedestrian safety funding consideration. We have some additional funding specifically for school and playground locations, and we can add the other two locations (Speed Cushions on Galbraith and raised crosswalk on Burns) to that list for consideration." We were initially asked for two areas, I am pleased we will have 4 be considered. The Vine street raised crosswalk will be near Kroger. We did try for one near Country Fresh in the past.
