Meet by corner of Hunsford and Woodbine. Join Jane and Peggy as they share some Hartwell history! The history walk will run along Burns and Woodbine (and streets nearby).

Hartwell Plant Swap
Saturday, September 25 from 10-11AM. Meet at the “Turtle” park on the corner of Ferndale and Burns. Bring plants from your garden or house that you have to share with other neighbors. Coffee and refreshments will be served.
Fall Clean up
Saturday, Oct 2 from 9–11:30 AM Meet at the Mutual Arts Center 8222 Monon Ave.
Neighborhood Block Party
Saturday, Oct 2 from 12–3:00 PM Mutual Arts Center 8222 Monon Ave. We will have food, games and a band. The band will be The Queen City Silver Stars. One of our own Hartwell residents is a member of the band. QCSS is described as a “Midwest Mind with a Caribbean
Soul” combining Americana/folk songwriting with traditional rhythms and instrumentation from the islands. This is a free event and we look forward to seeing Hartwell residents getting together!
HIA October Meeting Tuesday, October, 19 at 7:00 PM
Hartwell Recreation Center 8275 Vine St. We will have garden expert and new Hartwell business owner Julia, from Green Living by Design. She will give us tips on fall planting and getting ready for winter in the garden. She will also give updates on their new location on Galbraith Rd.
