Welcome to the neighborhood!
HARTWELL, OHIO
Hartwell holds the distinction as Cincinnati’s northernmost neighborhood and is situated in the Mill Creek Valley along Vine St, Cincinnati’s own “Main Street”. Annexed to the City of Cincinnati 100 years ago, it is home today to approximately 4500 residents who enjoy its central location, convenient access to I-75, Ronald Reagan Highway, the #78 Metro bus route to downtown and its walkable neighborhood business district that provides a broad array of local retail.
“Hartwellians” take pride in the community’s tree-lined streets, recreational opportunities, health care facilities, neighborhood school, and affordable housing. Of particular interest are Hartwell’s beautiful Victorian houses, historical Sears’ kit homes and homes designed by famed Cincinnati architect, Samuel Hannaford. It is a diverse community and an excellent place to call home.
