On Day trash delay City residents

Due to extreme cold and subzero wind chills, all trash, yard waste, and bulk collections are suspended today. The safety of our staff is our top priority. Collections will resume tomorrow and operate on a one-day delay for the remainder of the week. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we navigate these challenging conditions.

Our Public Service Winter Operations Team has been working diligently through the weekend to battle frigid temperatures and keep our streets safe. Today, crews are focusing on residential routes.

If you believe your street hasn’t been treated, please submit a service request by:

  • Visiting 311cincy.com

  • Downloading the 311Cincy mobile app

  • Calling 311

Due to brutally cold temperatures forecasted for our area, the City of Cincinnati is activating the Extreme Winter Weather Daytime Shelter at St. Anthony Center on Monday, Dec. 15.

This year, the City is partnering with St. Francis Seraph Ministries to host the shelter at 1615 Republic Street in Over-the-Rhine. St. Anthony Center already provides daily meals and is well acquainted with patrons of the winter shelter.

Additionally, Cincinnati Recreation Commission (CRC) recreation centers will function as warming centers during normal operating hours for anyone seeking refuge from cold weather. You can find CRC locations and hours here.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to keep our streets safe this winter!
