In addition to the pantry at the Hartwell Recreation Center that has dry foods and fresh fruits and veggies, they are adding a freezer!
The Food Equity Program within the Cincinnati Health Department’s Healthy Communities Program promotes sustainable healthy behavior change through the implementation of policy, system, and environmental changes to communities that are historically underserved by Cincinnati’s food system. In collaboration with Food for the Soul, La Soupe , Cincinnati Recreation Commission (CRC), and Hamilton County ReSource, we are excited to announce that the Cincy Freeze & Feed program has expanded to a third location at the Hartwell Community Center.
